What is a TrackR?

TrackR is a small tracking device – about the size of a Euro– that you can place virtually anywhere. When combined with the free, easy-to-use app, it helps make your life easier by keeping track of important items.

TrackR functions using low-power Bluetooth capabilities with a range of about 100 feet. The app conveniently tracks up to 10 Button TrackRs at once, so all your items can be taken care of. 

TrackR currently works with your iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, new iPad, iPad mini, new iPod Touch, Samsung Android 4.0 devices, and Android 4.3 devices.

Crowd Sourced Tracking

Other people using TrackR can help locate your lost items after you've lost them.  If another user comes nearby your lost item, our server will send you a push notification containing the updated GPS coordinates, the other user has no information about your item, he wouldn't even notice. This all happens automatically and confidentially.

Forget-me-not Reminder

You can choose to be alerted by your phone if you’re about to leave a designated area without your important item. For example it can allways remind you to take your keys with you, when leaveing home or work

2 Way Ringer

The technology works both ways! Not only can you make your TrackR beep from your phone, the TrackR also has its own button that allows you to make your phone ring, even if it's on silent! 

Distance Indicator

The app contains a hot/cold distance indicator that shows you if you are getting closer to your TrackR’s location.

GPS Map

The app remembers the time and location you separated from your TrackR and shows this location on a Google map.
